[LORE] Radhan vs Malenia
I don't know if it's mentioned whether or not their battle that ended in a draw happened before or after Radhan kept "the stars" still.

But if it happened while Radhan kept the stars still, then it's probably safe to assume that if he would have used all of his power (no holding up the stars, no messing with his mass to not screw over his dog) he would be probably have beaten Malenia, no?

Maybe, maybe not, there is a difference between power and skill, but the fact she had to taint him to "win" makes it hard to argue that he didn't beat her as is.

Also Malenia got knocked out and a dude had to grab her and run off with her so she wouldnt get killed. She seems to be all hype.

So what I'm thinking, if we ever get to fight prime Radhan in a DLC or expansion, he'll probably be the toughest motherf*cker in the game xD

Malenia won. Radahn is a crazy mindless beast riding a tiny zombie horse. All Hail the Goddess of Rot!

The way I see it is that Malenia got: "If I can't win, you won't either" and exploded a nuke on half the continent.

That would be great. I would love to fight that dude at his prime. I wonder if he was stronger than Godfrey is his prime. I know that Radahn is called the strongest demigod.

So just gonna forget that she managed to stab him before even unleashing the Rot?

This. I see melani as a villain. Radahn and Leonard are the heroes of the game. The modern day donkeyote or whatever

I love how people often point out how Radahn wasnt going all out, do i need to remind you Malenia wasnt either?

Her full power is using the Scarlet Rot, which she expended most of her life trying to resist it as its was consuming her body and mind, to the point that she lost 3 limbs and shes even blind.

Yea but stabbing him isn't an issue for Radhan, he kinda reminds me of Kempachi from Bleach, he just tanks hits like it's nobody's business lol

She DID use scarlet rot. She used the scarlet bloom thingy that's super OP (it's the thing that fu*ked up the whole of Caelid) against Radhan.

Malenia literally went all out on him xD

Likely, as he was staving off madness, protecting his horse with gravity magic, and stopping the stars from moving to prevent the 'meteor' (Astel) from colliding with Mistwood while fighting you and the other summons.

Kind of a big handicap.

Didn't she lose her limbs in the process of that battle, and her sight in the aftermath of it?

I think she went all out.
But in the trailer, she's shown going against Radhan with her prosthetic arm.

I too enjoy the canon lore that Malenia is a salty ♥♥♥♥♥ that decided to nuke an entire section of the map with her super-aids because she couldn't have her way. Based.

I mean when you believe that you're undefeatable, not being able to beat somebody is the biggest insult to you xD
She made sure that there won't be another duel with Radhan, leaving the conclusion to their duel too ambiguous for a clear winner (did Radhan win because he made Malenia retreat? Did Malenia win because she blew up his homeland and eroded his mind?).
There can't be another duel, because Radhan is not thinking straight anymore.
