PC: Mouse/kb or controller?

If you play on PC which is best, mouse/keyboard or using controller?

I play on PC with a controller. I've tried souls games in the past with KB+M but did not enjoy it. I play most PC games with KB+M, but this is one of the exceptions.

Specifically for Elden Ring, if you have the option of the controller and proficient with it, then overall, I'd say the controller.

If you've never used the controller and you're comfortable with mouse/keyboard, then stick with that. There's some room for KBM improvement though and you'll want to change the UI to KBM in the System -> Sound and Display -> Device UI Prompt settings. That and the letter G is your Help / Map key that does not appear in the keybindings menu.

vast majority of players go for controller, including myself. Try it for a bit and see what you prefer.
