It really feels that way more than it should, I guess I'll just rush through this playthrough and make a mage to actually play the game as intended. Oh well.
upon looking it up- ah. eh. it's annoying but you shouldn't really die to them. they cant hurt you if you stay off to the side below and you should be able to bait any enemies to you normally, or even easier using consumable darts or whatever.
Apparently the invertion is treated as two separate maps so killing her in inverted map doesn't kill her in normal map and vice versa. Have fun!
