You can use a password when playing with friends, this will remove the level limit completely.
You can use a password to play with friends and it will allow you to play together no matter what. It will automatically nerf you to his level.

as you can see the hosts level matters for it aswell. it isnt a flat +/-20.
if you overleveled (aka 200+) youre only able to get summoned with passwords anyway. most people dont go that high.
with level 40 and +3 special / 8 regular you will get summoned for most bosses in the game that arent margit or limgrave. godrick still works.
tough that is too low beginning after morgott youll see oneshots to you with that level no matter your gear and charms unless you dumb all in vig.
the amount of non vig bleed casul hosts i have seen die to loretta or cruci knight is absolutly silly. bleed cannot get nerfed soon enough by this point.
Well I'm lvl 200 and within 1 h of standing around in the mountaintops area.. I get like 10-15 fire giant fights.. so eh. I would say there are less people at "meta" pvp lvl than people just playing the game normally.
yes. NOW. in 2-3 months you wont see that anymore. we are still in the first month afterall.
