Nah dude. it's a homage to many fiction tropes in cyberpunk/astral horror stories. This stuff's been around for like 50 years + in popular fiction and is a general religious thing as well. See Greek's mythology for more info :P
Ah. This makes sense, given the symbolism of the soreseals and the hair colors
Can this help explain why she shattered the Elden Ring or why she was dissapointed Radagon never became as powerful as her? From Melanias dialouge its implied she needed someone as powerful as her to brandish it.
Also, I invite anyone who thinks this aspect of the story has anything to do with modern-day politics to read up on the actual Norse/Greek mythologies the backstory takes a lot of inspiration from. The process by which Loki acquired the eight-legged horse Sleipnir as a gift for Odin should be enlightening, I think.
A Rebis is a perfect being, Male and Female, it IS both at the same time, transgenderism can't do that, if you're born male but identifies as a woman, you're still not a female and thus not a Rebis.
The game if it was political, which I don't think it is, wouldn't be very pro transgenderism due to how it portrays the Rebis, a being in conflict with itself, and would be possibly a mocking jab to transgender people who cannot really change their sex, only their gender, which is merely the human construct part, in other words the role it performs in society, not it's own nature.
In the previous thread where several posters were pretty pissed at you for posting a spoiler in the thread title, you go and blatantly create a new thread with a similar post title.
When you asked, where did I go wrong? I don't understand why everyone is mad. Some other thread titles or things you could have done:
e.g. "Question about Marika (Spoiler)" or "Question about Radagon (Spoiler)". Have some decency for the players that haven't gotten that far and/or played through that route yet. So that way, someone actually has to click on the thread to see the spoilers instead of a flat out spoiler being on the Steam discussion list.
But at this rate, there is no point in any type of explanation if you don't bother to learn anything and you go to make another thread on the same topic.
it is only "political" if you are an american. For everybody else it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. :)
