Can you meet Gostoc before fighting Margit?
I learned about the Buckler's improved Parrying ability and figure I could use a crutch like that.

I had a go with the Buckler, starting a new character as a Bandit and was able to more reliably get parries in. But I do not wish to start over entirely as my Wretch already has about 8 hours of floating around and accomplishing nothing under her belt.

I started in the direction of Stormveil castle and encountered the mandatory boss Margit.

I'm not sure what level it's recommended to be before fighting him, but I am on Lv.18 or so, I believe?
And my equipment is not improved, just generic loot I found here and there... including the sword I found in a chest at a ruins leading up to the Stormveil area.

I was able to get Margit down to about ~10% health once, but I tend to get flustered and lose control of the fight in the chaos, particularly when the guy is jumping around and making my camera dance about.

Is this 'Gostoc' individual in a spot that can be reached prior to engaging Margit?
I wonder if I would have a better shot at defeating this boss if I had the buckler.

Lvl 20-30. Having a +3 weapon makes it much more manageable.

I watched a few videos about Margit.
It seems like the player is possibly meant to have defeated a few bosses already by this point as 'experience' to continue on in the game.

I haven't actually fought or defeated any bosses yet.
I scuffled a bit against the Thundercats guy, but was unsuccessful there as well.

It's just a bit difficult trying to time my parries when the camera won't stay still. ;)
