Phantom in roundtable hold

So I just beat Margyr, found myself in Roundtable hold (a supposed safe zone where I should feel safe) and while exploring around I ended up fighting a red phantom who killed me, taking away my 10k souls. Now everytime I come back he kills me almost instantly and I can't seem to be able to leave the area.....should I just kiss my runes goodbye? I know it's not that much, but this is really annoying -_-

Your suppose to kill him and then you will spawn back to the safe haven that is the real round table

npc invaders are mostly stunned by jump-strong attacks. or u could just Buckler Parry (skil only on bucklerl) him to death

Yeah I fought him a few more times and managed to kill him by running away and spamming jump attacks, good suggestion
