How to set up a fight club w/ friends?

Hey, I'd like to start a fight club in the first step grace with some friends of mine but I don't see their golden signs, so I'm assuming that's because I defeated the golden sentinel ages ago, and the boss must be kept alive. I can see their red ones, however, considering how I'm playing with 2 friends, I can't just use a tongue and summon them both as red spirits, otherwise no one could invade us, right? Should we look for another active pvp area whose boss one of us didn't kill?

Otherwise if you're just hosting a fightclub without fighting yourself you can just create a new character host, would love to join btw

Yes I was using remedies. I wouldn't have been able to summon them as red duelists if I weren't :/.

Also yes to the password. Couldn't see those yellow cooperator signs sadly.

I'd also like to fight myself.

Not sure, Limgrave is the only area where golden signs still appeared for me even though I cleared the area boss. All other regions I lost golden signs outside of dungeons I hadn't cleared when I did the area boss. Sometimes the signs just seem to not show up regardless though, so you just might be unlucky.

Guess we'll have to try again. Are you sure you haven't left any dungeons uncleared or anything of the sort?

Red duelist signs work. However I'd need the golden ones to show up considering I'd like to set this club up with 2 friends. My friends cannot act as the duelists or red phantoms when there's a limit of 2 with the tongue. No one else would be able to invade.
