Name 1 RPG better than Elden Ring 👀
Elden Ring may be one of the highest reviewed games in modern history on Metacritic, but it's far from perfect.

It's missing some core RPG elements and fundamental standards established by older open-world RPGs decades ago (like proper character progression with complex skill trees, proper story and dialogue, proper crafting system, etc...)

I think Elden Ring could have benefited greatly from another year of development as some mechanics were obviously rushed (like the shallow crafting system, re-used bosses, balancing issues, etc...).

Name any open-world RPG you think is better than Elden Ring, and explain how.

Witcher 3. Zelda, Dragon's Dogma, Elder Scrolls, and Nioh all had some RPG elements that I wish Elden Ring had.

Elden Ring needed at least another year of development to improve core game mechanics, especially the shallow crafting system which was obviously rushed.

Name any open-world RPG game that you think is better than Elden Ring, and briefly elaborate how.

Random Example:
Skyrim had better character & skill progression and a far more complex crafting system, but Elden Ring has better lore and much better combat.
dark souls 1.

it does a lot of things really well and some things not really. I'd be super bored if every open world games play like this one. thankfully I don't have to choose only one and play it forever or something.

It is not a good open-world game it is a good Souls game.
Open-world is not the main reason why ppl play this game.

I really didn't like skyrim, but I played so much morrowind it's probably why. I do think the spell slinging was obviously a lot better implemented with left hand right hand stuff. But the Assassins guild was the worst thing I've ever seen in any Elder Scrolls and I played Daggerfall, just can't take the game seriously with that world of warcraft level character writing.

To answer your question, Kenshi could be a contender for a better open world RPG. Graphically it can't hold a candle, but in most other regards it could be considered superior to some extent or another.
