The Volcanic Pots and the Iron-something perfumes. Though I just didn't stop to get more resources for those once I was out from the course of adventuring, but were among my favorites on the Vagabond-style character.
Would love to have all those arrow recipes on the Bandit-style character with the bow, but that may be part of their journey.
And then the rainbow stones. I used those to scout if I could survive a fall or not. Sometimes it would lead me astray with sticking onto something that was an instant death fall area. But I still like to toss them around from time to time.
And regrettably, Torrent is wondering why I did not feed them all these berries that I collected.
I use arrows, but only ones that I can buy from the shop in bulk.
Course the issue here is that i previous souls games, I'd find myself using items, and still dying in seconds, so it feels wasteful, and end up working on a boss until I figure it out.
But here the fact that I can craft, I hope I can convince myself that there's no reason to hoard.
I figured I'd have to craft bombs and bolts anyways but frankly, i keep finding more to use but I'll probably end up relying on those more often. Once I get my endurance up, I wanna be able to carry a crossbow full time with my tower shield, and whatever str weapon i'm using.
Still, I keep some of them equiped on my bars so the mimic will use them - eg he'll apply rot grease, throw glintstone clusters, etc
craftables sourced exclusively from running around farming random items feel like they shouldn't be relied on because it's just tedium if you want more, so like why bother
I used the rainbow stones to mark invisible paths, then realised they were kind of rare to find and that arrows do the same job, both better, faster and easier.
