I'm huge on no pay to win type mechanics at all when playing online.

My friend just asked me about playing this game, I wanted to know if there's pay to win mechanics such as EXP boosts/ items or content skipping etc for real life money for this game? Haven't looked much into the game but I won't bother if there is this type of game play.
( Don't want your opinion on whats pay to win, anything that effects game play is pay to win by definition, any negative/rude comments will be reported.)

None whatsoever, you buy the normal edition of the game and you have access to EVERYTHING that everyone else who owns the game does, no micro-transactions.

There’s absolutely no monetization beyond the up front cost to buy the game.

At some point they will release expansions, but that’s it. No microtransactions of any kind.

That's awesome ! Finally a creator that values the game. I don't mind cosmetics, but changing leveling speed or items etc isn't my thing. Thanks for the information my dudes.

It has hidden costs of around 30 bucks baked in, mind you.

That is, you will like it and will then feel compelled to buy the DLC when it comes out in six months or so. :)

DLC is DLC i don't mind that as long as it's not content that could of been released at launch and it doesn't come out every other month at 30 dollars each haha. Some games like Ark, didn't put enough into their DLC and it bothered me with the money grabbing.

DLC from the souls games has always been really good imo, not a one where I think to myself "Dam.. spent money on this?"
