Crusader Build?

I had a thought about doing a Crusader setup. Strength and Faith. And I already saw a couple weapons on another playthrough I'd love to try on it, such as Ordovis' Greatsword, or Siluria's Tree. But do any of y'all know of any other good weapons that would help exude the power of DEUS VULT

And yes, I do plan on trying the Golden Halberd. How can I not try using that glorious pole of righteous power?

Theres the Golden Order Greatsword in the Consecrated Snowfields. A legendary Armament I think looks quite cool

the blasphemous blade Maliketh's Black Blade and Godslayer's Greatsword are great options for str/fth builds

Doing that for my second playthrough since i went DEX/INT for the first time around, Golden Halberd is a power house but heavy, other interesting weapons if you want to go the heavy route are the Elderspear that you can just run and get it by going around stormveil castle, you can cheese the black gargoyle in front of the beast cleric if you just take the teleport there to also get other strenght and faith weapons.

There's also the Great Elder bow right at the start if you feel like smacking people from range. Those are the fatest ones i can think of, there are other more late games ones such as Godslayer greatsword with one of the godskin apostles

Bubble shower and the envoy's longhorn can two-shot mohg (omen version) with a full str/faith buld.

The problem with str/faith is you don't have very good ranged since your best seal (beast) requires standard stones so it's going to take longer to level up.

Well while you can just walk over there from the get go, i do think that he's a bit too hard to try to get it very early with low levle character

fair enough but with summons or ashes it's doable

treespear is pretty nice. unlike most split damage weapons, you can actually buff it (for example with electrified armaments spell) to double down on the faith scaling.

requires a chunk of dex to use, though (22 or so?)

pretty good moveset. charged power attack is a vicious double stab, staggers trashmobs right away so you get a free crit afterwards

I don't know if fighting a godskin guy in the divine tower of caelid counts as something you can do right away?

You can just go there right after getting the horse (unless you really like walking), nothing stopping you from going there plot wise as far as i remember except though enemies

The Sacred Sword is one of the best for STR/FAITH builds, but you'll only get it later on. Start with the Winged Scythe and Golden Halberd and expand later on.

but I think you have to beat that boss to get the weapon? that's pretty tough very early game
