absolution wont work

i killed white faced varre and upset the beast guy in the bestial sanctum and every time i go to the church of vows it says i dont need absolution is my game just broken or do i need to do something else other than have celestial dew

Well, if you killed Varré, you can't get him back as he's not a merchant NPC, so that's it for him.

Remember to always backup your saves.

the bestial guy gets hungry after the 4th death item, its part of teh quest, if you shave 20% of his hp, he says I`m sorry, it my starving sin, dotn kill me, rest at the site of grace he will never attack you again, or you can kill him to get a last smithing stone...

Absolution only works with the latter.

An adednum to that is only certain merchant NPCs that are quest required.

i killed selena/the real body that's chained and her avatar in waypoint disappear
after absolution she came back alive both real body that is chained and the avatar that sell us sorcery
patches didn't respawn though

It feels absolutions work only if you kill merchants in ER, maybe somebody can give more info tho

patches is a char in all souls series to you choose, to kill, or to forgive and be friends, there is no point on using ressurection on it
