not even sure what casued it
while it may not solve the issue - i remapped heavy attack to its own key ( ctrl )
can still do the charge-up with shift click if needed
also, the game will randomly automatically do a backstep attack SOMETIMES after i do a retreating charge attack (done with rapiers/curved swords by cancelling a charge attack with a backstep).
It's a bug in a feature...
To do it at will : LCTRL + Mouse Button (both kept pressed)
Then when the "swing" is over release the LCTRL key only and keep the Mouse button : it will attack again...
In fact the way the program the power/charge attack is that if you keep the mouse button for "attack" and spam the LCTRL key it will attack the same way as if you just spam the LButton of the mouse.
So if the mouse is pressed an release the key it means the same as clicking...
I thought it was just Bluetooth weirdness. But if others are noticing the same thing, it's gotta be the game...
This happens when you let go of Shift before letting go of Mouse 1. The game reads you holding Mouse 1 alone as a separate attack, therefore following up the Heavy attack with a Light one.
To avoid this let go of Mouse 1 FIRST, then release Shift. Hope this helps someone.
On M&KB this has been going on (at least for me, and others from the looks of it) since release of the game itself.
Edit: Only the heavy attack part though.
