This game completely buried Horizon Forbidden West
I thought BOTW did the original one dirty but damn, Elden Ring buried the sequel 50ft deep in an unmarked grave. The subreddit is a graveyard and no one is talking about it anymore.

For such a huge AAA exclusive game, it sure came and went fast.

when the only notable things people have to say about a game boil down to 'it looks pretty', its got bigger problems than other popular games releasing around the same time
Forbidden what?

exclusive game,
that's why, it'd not gonna have staying power when you don't release it to every community

especially when your following a generic formula (not a bad one per se, but its not breaking any molds)

This is pathetic. And embarrassing. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Nah all the political correctness people will sure buy it up. 100 copies per person.

More like Forgotten West.

No worries, that game was a conveyor belt line big studio game like any other, completely devoid of any soul.

I honestly forgot about this game because of Elden Ring, and I even wanted it too having liked the first game. Oh well, won't need to buy any new game for a long time.

I wonder if they will time the release of the third Horizon game with Elder Scrolls 6 just to keep the tradition

Face it buddy, this sort of stuff has been mainstream for half a decade now.

True that, i've never met someone in real life who likes the game, and whenever someone online defended it, their argument was always "SPAWKLY SHINY PWETTY GWAPHICS".

my buddies and I played the first one and loved it, elden ring is just a bigger game with more installments in the franchise, both are AAA titles and cost 80$ decisions were made.

def plan to get forbidden west once i at least finish the story once on elden ring.

my one buddy isnt into the souls games so he opted for forbidden west, says its the best game hes ever played and has played non stop since release and has already 100% platnium trophy, kid is obsessed, def looking forward to it.

Horizon 3 will probably launch the same year as Witcher 4 or Elder Scrolls 6, their hilarious tradition must continue.
