What do you mean "not safe"? The console is safe, for us at least. It's not for the dev and publisher as it puts their intellectual property at risk.

Fairly certain that I read the RCE vulnerability is also present on consoles. The main distinction between console and PC is that consoles are pretty much mass produced/standardized, game-only PC's, they don't usually contain a lot of personal information that would be of value to a hacker. They're also not full of things unrelated to playing games, well, other than some bloatware that may have been added over the years since I last owned a console.

Why would anyone want to play a game before they are done patching bugs and messing around with optimizations and so on? Even day one patches sometimes don't fix what could be wrong with a game's performance. People complain enough about games not working on day one, rightly so as they've long awaited a launch and paid money for the product only for it to not be performing as intended, but playing a cracked version 2 weeks early is desperation and being willing to put up with bugs and stuff that may even get reworked or moved around last minute before full launch. There's no way it would be better early rather than later.

Yes, but it requires some effort to get your game cheatable, and console players don't play on console because they like putting effort into setting up something for the game.

I love how Fromsoft said we are second class criminal gamers because we would hack the network test, so we don't get the chance to play the demo on pc, yet, the playstation version got hacked and youtube is full of spoilers and technic and stats tests for the game.

I hope next time, we get a network test on pc, too, because it gets hacked anyway.
