GeForce Now on Elden Ring?
think about having Elder Ring but not having a good pc to play it. so would you think it would be on GeForce Now allowing people that don't have a good high performing gaming rig to play it? tho I do wish they add it would be sad if they don't well I just give my hopes up.

It's a shame that GFN didn't really get the support it needed, because it's an excellent idea and was executed... well, actually. It was just not as lucrative as whatever the counter offer from retail websites was.
Get a Shadow PC. GeForce Now support for new AAA games hardly exists. Shadow is €30 per month. You get a gaming system, play which ever game you want. If you need €5 - €10 discount during first month you can DM me.

It's Elden Ring, not Elder Ring.

I wouldn't. Looking at the screenshots, etc.. this is not really a super next gen graphics game (still looks purdy). I would try local install. You can always refund and go down the cloud path if you need to.

Im in no way a pro gamer that cares about input lag (which nothing, ever will beat local play versus cloud for lag), but I can guarantee you, when you are up at 2AM, on your 134th try on a boss, and you both have one more hit to go, and you die cause you were just THAT sliver of a second to late you will be kicking yourself for not at least trying local first.

GeForce Now is a service that requires you to have bought the game you want to play on it, its not like Stadia where you essentially have to buy a Stadia copy of the game or some other rental service. It lets you play games you actually have on Steam/etc.

Geforce now still exists...

Just get a ps5 and finance it. You might take a few years at the same cost of geforce now, but you are finished evtl. and you'd still get new games for many years to come. I mean, you obviously don't want to invest in a pc upgrade, so I highly recommend the PS5, it is worth its money, if you find it in retail and not a scalper online. Of course, the value will go down with ne pc parts being released, reducing the price of "older" hardware, but the price for the ps5 will also go down.

I can't imagine streaming gaming taking off, especially not as alternative to your home pc. I mean, if you are spending so much time gaming, why not invest in a gaming pc? Why go with an unrelyable experience where you even have to buy the games?

Just play the games you already have and save up on pc upgrades.

If only existing was the only qualifier that mattered
