We have Body type A and Body type B again??

In the images showing the starting classes of the testing demo they showed male and female armors as A and B, im not sure if it was just a coincidence but just like in Demon's souls remake, this is just dumb, is not inclusive or anything is just a dumb choice to look inclusive and get a medal, do it decently or dont do anything.

i mean, what we call "body type: male or female" now would be body type: A or B
that simpe change of name makes no one have gender quite literally, now you are A or B
It would make sense if they had more than 2, but whats the point then? they just changed the name because...? i dont really get why is this a good design choice.
Also if this follows the demon's souls remake you wont be able to say if your character is male or female in any way, you stay as A or B which is just the opposite of what i think they want to achieve.
This smells like namco stuff, too bad we cant add a spanish dub but lets add this dumb thing instead.

So they used the terms type a and type b instead of male and female. Theres only 2 genders, so why would they make extra body types? You can customize your character a lot Im sure, like all souls games.

It seems like every company or prominent figure is afraid of being labeled a transphobe so it's easier to just do this and not have to deal with a potential backlash.

If they wanted to be inclusive they could have let you choose gender, bodytype, voice and animations individually so that opens more customization and more people can be represented.

You people do realize this is just the network test, right?
From Software has no need for people spending hours in the character creation screen.

Character customization is for when the game releases.

It's just like when we had the DS3 network test.

I hate to tell ya'll this, but trans people aren't against the words "male" or "female", or the body types being assigned a sex term. The thing they're trying to avoid is being misgendered, so words like "man" or "woman" being tasked to them is whats dominating the debate. If you just address them with what they like to be called, there is little issue going on.

The truth of the matter is probably a and b save space for the other things they're customizing, and they just think the UI looks neat. I've seen this on other Japanese games that were a lot less "woke", so please, just complain about anything else, this is actually giving me second hand cringe.
