If you're in it for the walking simulator type game, semi-cinematic and somewhat interactive with puzzles while the story unfolds, there's a bunch, like What Remains of Edith Finch, Firewatch, and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
If you like the investigation aspect, or having the story unfold through environmental bread-crumbs, probably the closest match to this one in the genre is Scene Investigators. Some of the best include Return of the Obra Dinn, and The Case of the Golden Idol.
Be aware that the investigation games are quite a bit brainier than this one.
Very interesting, and the first episode is free so I'll give it a try!
