Dragon Turret Problem !!!

Ooh, I've had enough. Does anyone know how to destroy the dragon turret? I've tried everything and it seems the damn thing is 100% immortal

I'd like to know as well, I hope it;s not some forced story-quest thing, it's annoying when games do that. I prefer to do all the grinding first.

Ok I managed to run into one of the Guilded Ruins' pipes with the hovercraft before the turret's projectile reached me.
Hope this doesn't get patched out lol.

Yes, but the main problem is that the last 2 dungeons are protected by shields combined with a dragon turret. If you don't destroy it, you won't destroy the shield and you can't continue the game.

I don't have a shield, nor any clue where to get it. I assume it's part of the main quest? In that case it's not a solution if I want to do all the side activities first... well at least I managed to get all the flying challenges done, despite that one turret.

You get the shield from doing the story.

It's definitely blocking it with your shield, bounces back takes down the forcefield and turret
