I have handheld device... i was planning to play this game. Wondering if does the game supports controller?

Yeah Controller support is always the most important requirement since I play on the big TV.
So if I understand correctly, I can buy the game now but won't be able to play it for 6 weeks?

Seems that way as controller support not mentioned on store page.

I'll buy this when controller support added and is ok, the game looks good.

Alrigthy I now purchased it and hope Controller Support is really added in 6 weeks then.
I also don't really need Full Controller Support, it's enough if once in Game i can use it flawlessly. But of course Full Controller Support is always welcome.

Also if it's useful for you to know what type I use, I mostly used Xbox Elite Controllers (Wireless via MS Dongle) but now I also use Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers (Wireless via Bluetooth) because they are not so heavy and have very accurate Input.

Btw. The game has been on my wish list for a long time... xD

Sorry but I had to refund the game. Because I wanted controller support. Maybe once it's applied to the game I will re-purchase.

I forgot to update this thread - but we decided to prioritize up and try to get controller support fixed earlier (than 6 weeks after release). But yes, if you refund now you get the chance again, just keep an eye out for the update ! :-)

This game is amazing. Yes i only have almost an hr played. I really enjoy it graphically and technically. Game play and sarcasm has the possibility to take this to a whole other level. I want to stream it but decided to play off stream. In the amount of time played, i was laughing a lot. This game has been much needed in the RPG world. The reason for off stream is because of no controller support. I do not knock the game for that. Controller support will make it that much more fluid in terms of game play and such. Much love to everyone involved in bringing this game to us. When controller support hits, i will most definitely stream this without a doubt.

I've created a community controller profile for Xbox 1 controllers, it should work on other controller types just fine as well. This should work as a placeholder until the official support is out. Here's what it does.

Left Analog Stick-WASD movement. Click stick to toggle sprint, which will stop when you release the left stick.

Right Stick-Camera, mouse movement, weapon selection when Left Shoulder is held down. Right stick click while using Left Shoulder to pick weapon type. (Big picture required)

Dpad Up-Eat Gnome
Dpad Right-Open Map
Dpad Down-Use Lucy
Dpad Left-Use Mount

A-Jump
B-Roll
X-Interact
Y-Throw

Right Trigger-Attack
Left Trigger-Block (Melee) Aim (Ranged)
Right Shoulder-Use Whoopass
Left Shoulder-Hold and use right stick for weapon menu, right stick click to select weapon.

Back/Select-Open inventory
Start/Menu-Open main menu.
