Now where's my Halo 5 port? Halo 5: Forge on the Microsoft store for PC is fully functional and plays like a dream. You basically have it done, you have customs, forge, and a lobby browser. You just need matchmaking. Custom game nights with my friends on that port has been cool when we can coordinate, but I miss fighting randoms in Infection.
PS: if you do, please make the campaign installable separately from the multiplayer <3

It absolutely should not have taken this long for Assault to be added. There's no reason for it, at all, other than them choosing not to.
The story should always be about Master Chief, but the multiplayer experience—matchmaking and custom games—is about us, the players. Since Reach (the best Halo game) introduced female Spartans, anything less feels like you’re designing this game blindfolded. A sequel is meant to improve upon past games, not strip away what made them great. Players love female Spartans—both men and women enjoy playing as them. And assassinations? They add more variety and depth to combat. Instead of just shooting or punching, players get rewarded with a satisfying, skill-based execution for sneaking up behind enemies. It’s a no-brainer—bring them back.
Or, at the very least, add Halo 5 to PC so we can play another great game with solid mechanics. Sure, the story was questionable, but the gameplay was fun. It would give people something to play until you get your act together and either make a proper Halo game that isn’t bastardized.
