I liked CE classic's graphics style best, personally.
1. The showcased build used a work in progress lighting system.
2. Improperly configured PBR materials.
If you look at the trailer, you can see it looks far better as the footage was taken from a more recent build than the one showcased in the gameplay reveal.
I just watched the gameplay trailer. The graphics don't look any better whatsoever.
Didn'y yall think for one second that they look like plastic because they're MADE of plastic? They're from the future! Flesh is illegal!
how is this also relevant to this topic you ask? Well, thats easy. To show off their "amazing" new system and to make more money, i have no doubt they will come with crazy ♥♥♥♥ like yarn armor plating. Making spartans run around looking like their grandma knitted their mjolnir armor. And then all of the sudden plastic wasnt so bad :(
