Is it still possible to play online?

I'm thinking of installing this game again but I'm not sure if online still works or even if the game still works because I have heard about how difficult it is to play this game now because of EA

Yes and no. There is a current DDOS attack that is kicking everyone off any server they connect to.

So it's impossible to play.

Can I still play the campaign though? Also, is this happening for other battlefield games (more specifically BF3)

theres plenty of servers that are active

online works fine
