It has a kernel level anticheat but just as is the case for most multiplayer games, cheaters will of course find a way to cheat, though it doesn't happen anywhere near as much as it did before the EAAC update dropped.
As for tryhards, There will be tryhards as its quite an old game now ( 2016 I believe it launched ) so many of the high rank players will of course be tryharding but that's usually the way it goes when you purchase an older title.
On the flipside with how often this game goes on sale, you'll have players that will match at a similar rank to you too so it's a nice mixed bag.
Both have their own merits to be honest, BF1 has the atmosphere of a war in progress, where BF4 has more modern weaponry.
I think for both games they both have their plus's and minus's, I'd say get both if you can, they're both worthy of sinking thousands of hours into.
IDK if its me, but the enemies move a lot faster too? Seems like a whole different game, any tips?
