Are the game's servers still with players?

Just played, it’s absolutely full, be aware that most people have unlocked everything by now, so being a noob you’ll go up against level 100s. Don’t worry, there’s a small amount of < level 50s still playing (like me)

I don't know. I just got the game too and tried to play litterally every kind of match and just left it all at default and it could not find any matches and said to try again later. I then see a thing for a 100% free soldier bundle but only thing is you had to claim it before I got the game, why even show me this?
I played BF2 back in the day and had fond memory but this one is not a great start.

they are very alive but use gametracker to check for players

Yes for Conquest (multiple full all day), not so much for Rush (which I personally prefer since BFBC 1 but only has 1 or 2 servers).

It's also mostly normal mode, where I prefer hardcore

PS I come as new. Well on PC that is; lvl 120 or so on PS4. And oh; I DID get my ass kicked a LOT 1st couple games ;)

I also played this game before on PS4. I played a lot between 2016 and 2017 but then the disc reader of my console broke and i don't have plus anymore to play online either.

So once i saw the Premiun Edition with %93 discount on Steam i didn't doubted it haha.

its full, but at this point most of the people who play has max level, but the game can be fun and chaotic even if you're low leveled

You have to search for the server manually, not through quick match

Just a quick problem you'll face if you decide to play it now, you have to manually update punkbuster or you'll be banned from servers
