Turn off the music!

Is there a way to turn off the music. Obviously, there are no settings for this - is there a console command? I think the music is an attribute of an object that is invisible and non-destructible.

I would love to turn off the music too....it ruins the immersion. And all the map markers, grenade warnings,,,,etc.....WTF. fkn xray vision.

Heh, immersion.... This is a game where you can use C4 to launch a MBT onto the roof skyscrappers and everyone's stealing dog tags like it's not a war crime.

Bought it for the campaign. ive never played a FPS where i cant turn off the music and subtitles...and whats this damage counter thingy bottom centre screen...telling me if i get a head shot or when the enemies dead....and a minimap is cheating...it tells u exactly where the enemy is. Been playing games for 30+ yrs.

Steam forum reactions are absolute garbage. High time people learn to shut their trap if they got nothing useful to say.

You can't change the music, and deleting files from the BF4 directory will cause Punkbuster to start kicking you from multiplayer.
