I want to play a bf game again but im not the biggest fan of the ww time periods the recent ones have, so im wondering if you can still find big lobbys most of the time.

To be honest that's not always helpful, as there are a lot of servers which show as full and there in fact empty.

yeah there are many servers for most maps but i recommend you to buy bf4 or bf3 or bf1 but bf4 is the best.

depends on where you are, if youre in asia i dont recommend you getting it. i live in europe easy 30 ping servers but my friend in east asia got it and couldnt find a server below 300 ping

Yeah nevermind that just being on Steam, right now its currently free on Origin if you have a amazon prime account, so i'm willing to bet the player base is 2x that at least if not more.

This was my experience too. I refunded because of it actually, why these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ think it's a good idea is beyond me. It makes players angry , NOT make them want to stick around.
