Game Immediately Closes

I bought this game back in October and Origin glitched and wouldn't let it launch after being able to play for a few days. I tried getting help and was told to reinstall it by EA Support, but since it's so heavy I just did not reinstall until now.

Now that I have it again, the game will immediately close down, no screen nothing, it's about a second or two before I get the option to "Play" again. Pressing play does launch Origin if it's unlaunched, but it does not launch the game. I tried the x64/x86 thing, but it did not work; any ideas on how to solve this?

Just open origin and steam client. Open your origin library and smash the "Play" button. It will freeze for a few secs and game will open.

as longas you have origin open you should be able to launch you game

Yeah I have had Origin open and there's only a twitch of the Origin screen window, but same effects. also spamming the Play button didn't seem to work either. i may have to just give up on Battlefield 4, the Steam/Origin implementation has not been working for it.

ultimately ea support just tweaked some things and now BF4 opens Battlelog and from there I can join games, better than not being able to play at all at least.

Black screen at start is a known issue with BF4, do a quick search for the fixes depending on what system you have. See ya on the BF
