Here's your champion gaming advice:
Fast shooting weapons = close quarters
Slow shooting weapons = long range
If you're not a "new player to battlefield!!1" like you said in your last essay, this shouldn't be shocking
Also, you should be glad that someone bothered to actually read and answer multiple statements you made instead of spamming "gut gud".
Given that most people are too stupid to write and talk properly these days, it's a shame to complain about people answering properly.
80% of that was completely useless, a near diatribe. Please lol. None of that was even remotely helpful out of two of those points being made. And none of them actually helped me at all. So yeah, there is no point typing that much up when it boils down to petty, sardonic comments with a little bit of logic here and there that is mostly obvious.
I read his inputs. Nothing there gained me any knowledge of the game other than maybe the comment about 2x scopes. So yeah it was a lot of nothing. Maybe you didn't catch his git gud advice further down, but it's clearly there. So that post was mostly just ONE LARGE GIT GUD spam comment lmao. Ironic.
And as if I am in a corner with a shotgun lmao. I am literally using a shotgun running across large maps and taking bases because so far my scopes are all garbage. I haven't played much though. Will probably find some time for a few matches soon.
I don't think anyone in this thread ever offered any coherent advice on weapons or gadgets that are popular among the "elite" crowd, so it's still pretty hard to test all of this with little time to play.
Besides that, feel free to tell us where exactly he was wrong. As it stands now, he was pretty much right with most of what he wrote.
You claimed to be a l33t BF player and not a statspadder, so why do you need recommendations about statspadding weapons?
It's been toned down massively since BF3, but the game still makes little to no attempt to communicate this to the player. I only figured it out after shooting at the sky and watching the tracers. This mechanic always ensures that the first few hours for a newbie will be miserable, which is probably why it is absent in BFV and presumably BF2042.
Turning on Uniform Soldier Aiming might help.
This game will always suffer from the same bs.
Read the first post, genius. I have never played this game, have very little time to play this game, and know next to nothing about its maps.
At any rate, just stop posting in the thread. Good advice.
I looked at USA, but I have never used it. On a controller remember, so it might IDK. Will have to try a few things. Definitely did not help in BF1, so I always left it off.
Good tip about the accuracy. Yeah, I definitely feel that. And the muzzle blast. It was ridiculous with just iron sights. Not saying it's bad, just I have no idea the small moves I have to make to make the guns work with a controller, and then no acceleration settings pretty much borks my accuracy anyway. But I'll keep it in mind.
Which is strange because people complain about BF1, and there is literally almost no problem with it. A few bullets might be random, but its options and shooting far outclass this if you ask me. There is just something super janky about the way BF4 is, but it may because of animations.
Yeah, I kind of just wanted to see the maps and maybe have some fun, but it's become a bit hard to do that. It's an old game, so nothing really lost here. I definitely will have little to zero time for this once 2042 comes out. I am sure some old maps will see the light of day too in their new system. Population numbers will plummet once the sale ends no doubt.
Cool game to have and mess around in if you never played it though.
This is not true to my knowledge. They don't have those options there AFAIK, and the console versions on PS4 look and play like absolute garbage. Or I would try them.
I use a controller for everything but sniping, and I do fine in BF1 and BFV.
