Well you cant expect anything good from EA anymore.
But I have to agree that the issues are even worse than expected. Still fun to play for a couple of hours.
The part about the controller had me breathing a bit heavier than normal.
You clearly suck at the game if you say the class system is all over the place, For me all this sounds like "I suck at the game so i'm going to dump all over it", Honestly just get good man...
Like the MG, you apparently aren't supposed to just fire, get cover and place your BP to fire
Oh, please. That's one of the most stupid fanboy arguments you can possibly use in any context.
If you just throw a "Git gud!" at every word of criticism, your opinion isn't worth anything.
Can you even explain what he meant with the sentence you commented on?
I don't use that at all, it's way too glitchy. It only kinda worked with a separate key, but that was too annoying to use for me.
Ironically, that feature got even worse in BF5. No idea how they managed to do that.
That being said it's far away from the main problems this game has. Most people don't use the full class assembly, because it is not balanced well. As far as random solo queue gameplay, the game is borderline broken. I can still get into squads immediately with V and 1, and I have no issue cooperating. This game on the other hand is so old and archaic it's not really worth the time to make it work. Everything has a completely janky vibe to it that modern shooters outside COD don't really have. This game reminds me of COD with big maps more than any other BF I have recently played.
Let's just hope that doesn't carry over to 2042. I think the sheer number of useless things in this game just makes it very ridiculous for newer players. Like I said, sure there are tons of things, but I CAN'T EVEN GET A PROPER 2x SCOPE for a damn gun lol. I am sitting here trying to level up stuff, and the class system is so ridiculously horrible to tweak that it takes hours to get things how you want it, to understand what you have and what you don't have. I have ONE loadout per class right now lol. It's ridiculous.
Of course I look at what guns are top tier, but at this point I get basically two shotted so fast it doesn't even matter. I just need a freaking decent 2x scope for a weapon I am using, and it simply takes too long to get it when you are new let alone get it for 4 or 5 different weapons. Mouse only basically. SO I guess camp and use a mouse is the way to go here. We are talking conquest here. I am pretty decent in Deathmatch still, but that's now why I am playing.
On the other hand supporting EA AGAIN after all their ♥♥♥♥ ups also does not sound like fun.
V and 4 launched broken as hell. 1 is the only game that was competent at release in the last ten years lol. Apex their main game so to say is also broken all the time.
Yeah, just voicing some issues. I thought 4 was going to be more fun than it is.
Don't get me wrong, I will improve a bit and use a bit more of the vehicles to bump KDR, but most everything else in this game is a bit weak if you ask me. When you are constantly told that 4 is the best thing ever, well I guess expectations are pretty high.
It really is a VERY small minority of players who scream the loudest in the BF community.
I joined a random squad. When Recon with the Binoculars. Captured a rooftop on Siege of Shanghai and started getting locks on any enemy vehicle I could see.
With 10 minutes, the rest of the 5 man squad had all switched to Engineer and using rocket launcher to take advantage of my lock-ons, with exception of 1 who went Support, dropped an ammo box so the Engies could restock and set to mortaring anything I was marking.
Did we get best squad? No.
Did I get to watch as every tank or chopper in range suddenly had 3 rockets heading their way? Yes. It was worth it.
That's the plan, but I can't really say I care much honestly.
