TRANSFER ORIGIN GAMES TO STEAM

I noticed that EA launched their "Battlefield" games on Steam, which is perfect. But now I find out that it's not possible to connect (link) Origin account to Steam if you already BOUGHT these games. I don't see the point why EA would do this.. I bought and spent plenty of hours on BF3, BF4, Hardline... It wouldn't be fair if I had to re-buy games on Steam in order to play them via this platform. Does anyone know will EA change this in near future, since I think this is a complete FAIL!

Curious thing, i bought BF2 on steam and BF4 on Origin ( a long time ago), and Origin recognized BF2 as it was purchased on that platform so i can play it in both. I think that would be fair that the same ♥♥♥♥ happens with BF4 here, thanks.

a long time ago i activated my key for crysis 2 maximum edition that i bought at origin on steam. so it’s not impossible.

Crysis 2 is mainly work on steam i hear is different.

Also certain people have bought on steam again for these people is a rip off if happens for other ea games.

Someone bought a car in car shop "one".
Then he came to another different car shop "two", with same cars.
And now ask to give a free car (same exact model) from car shop "two" because he already paid full price in car shop "one".
That how it looks like.

But still, think twice before paying to EA.

I think you arent understanding the issue, you don't pay for a platform, you pay for a game, platforms are irrelevant, with that line of thinking the steam game shouldnt require origin... since you only bought steam version, stop making nonsense excuses.

So Bethesda can give you a free Steam key if you already own the game in their launcher, but the"poor" EA can't lol. They just like to keep loosing customers
