TRANSFER ORIGIN GAMES TO STEAM

I noticed that EA launched their "Battlefield" games on Steam, which is perfect. But now I find out that it's not possible to connect (link) Origin account to Steam if you already BOUGHT these games. I don't see the point why EA would do this.. I bought and spent plenty of hours on BF3, BF4, Hardline... It wouldn't be fair if I had to re-buy games on Steam in order to play them via this platform. Does anyone know will EA change this in near future, since I think this is a complete FAIL!

It's not Steam responsability, it's EA, and they can give free keys for the games you already have on Origin. Let's wait and see.

Origin not is a free company too :) only because purchase on origin not mean you can have for free on steam. The origin want you to buyng on origin and not have for free on steam.

As i remember EA games have not care for customers opinion after you buy them product so here we can only waiting and laugh at their next slip for money ( but there will have always people with money and no brain ) :) .

well dont worry origin deleted my account a few months ago, and said i never had anything. even though i had bank statements and all the cd keys from games i had disks for as evidence. they wouldnt believe me and refused to do anything about it, id be careful giving anything to origin

All new games with some exception have sub app in it but not mean can have for free on both if you purchased on origin.

it’s not both bro, it’s no both. It’s like same cd key and same account in Origin, steam just like shortcut for run yours games in your account in Origin. Plz, don’t defend EA. EA sucks

u can litteraly just go to games in the top left and click add non steam game and itll basicly add bf4 to ur steam account {if u already have it on origin}

I dont defend is only the real thing cant have on steam if you bought in origin. Im not a hater like certain people because beg to have for free, or included on origin, because is counter the rich company.

Edit: i see every company rich have hater. Nothing new. Only annoyed to see every time :/

I don't get that "you want things for free" argument.... YOU PAID FOR THE GAME, in some cases at full price during launch, you kind of support more EA than anyone who buys game at 5-10€.
