False, not all of those sites showing you those numbers are accurate. So that 3.5-4k being shown minus all of the false "64/64" lobbies that actually have 0 players are more like 2k-3k at most. Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the most active with the most amount of players on Steam. Literally shows the numbers above the game in the community hub. Unless you are talking about the "active" bf4 unofficial servers from Origin that show you the server is full or 64/64 but actually ends up having 0 players and says "searching/looking for players" when you enter into the game

People are on here actually thinking bf4 is filled with players when exactly what you are talking about is happening, it just has servers that falsely says 63/64 64/64 and then when you enter the server there is 0 people and says "looking/searching for players"

Bad Company 2 servers are actually filled and with real people if you look at the server browser filtered by players

There are more bf4 players on ORIGIN servers, not on Steam. If you're asking which bf game is being played the most on Steam, then Bad Company 2. And it makes sense actually because Bad Company 2 was the last battlefield game to be released on Steam (before EA decided to crawl back to Steam as of today & the first bf game being not released on Steam and on Origin instead being bf3 (2011) and onwards), that and BFBC2 is actually a good Battlefield game, unlike all this garbage released after bf3, and even bf4 was questionable considering it was just a reskin of bf3 with a worse initial launch that only got better towards the end of its life with updates

Here is a video of Mutahar or SomeOrdinaryGamers showing how bf4 is falsely showing wrong player counts with there actually being no players in the game when you enter and this still happening in 2020

its the clan servers who pays a seeder to fill their servers with fake ass numbers yes it works to fill the server up and it suprisingly actually works but we refuse to use em

So you admit to this still happening in 2020 and EA not caring to fix this with people entering "64/64" servers and there being 0 players? What's the problem? Oh that's right, let's have everyone pay money for the game again for the second time on Steam to keep having the same issues of fake numbers on servers for bf4. How much more is it going to take for people to realize that the player base is not in EA's best interest?

Oh dont presume EA has done nothing they have recently fixed 1 way of seeding servers but they keep finding another way (just like the modders in GTA) I can not speak for other owned servers from other clans/communities but mine will never use seeders. its still a good game I enjoy playing it (mines on origin I dont care if my hours do not show on steam ) but the fake numbers are down to the people renting the servers paying people to seed them in hopes of attracting more players to their server (The biggest issue this sadly works for some)

But honestly if you ever want to play on a server with active admin/ no seeders(fake numbers) and no cheaters (those caught are instantly banned) let me know

What does is matter you still play with origin players regardless... Battlefield 4/5 are the only games you won't have any issues finding games.

Battlefield 4 always has 3-7k online I've never had issues with it while in bad company 2 is always in the hundreds

the only thing you can do is look for servers that have people queuing to join and sometimes even that's faked

idk about us servers but in europe it takes forever espacially if you have a slow pc because then loading into the empty server will also take even longer

game been out since 2013 and all it matters people still play it. i dont see the point of baby complaining about numbers when people be busy playing

I have never had any issue finding a full 64 player server at anytime but I have not played in half a year. I was confused when I joined some servers that said they were full and they were actually empty, so that's called seeding eh? Yea I did run into some of that but I just figured it was a glitch, it did not stop me from finding multiple good servers at all times.

A lot of people prefer the modern setting I think.
