how to use the trench periscope ?

i have it in my hand but idk how to assist with it, help im new

You aim with it and mark people. That's the gist of it. Players you mark with it are marked for longer, and get a red outline when in your or your team mates' view.

Mind that it has the same scope glare as scoped Scout rifles, and you will be really easy to spot due to that.

PS: Vehicles that get marked by it get a red outline which is visible through walls and terrain, as well, if I remember correctly.

I think you have to use your spot button (check binds, but I think it's Q normally) while scoped.
