bf5 can't connect to ea online

i had this issue about 2 years ago already and it seemed to fix itself after about a year. And the issue is that after playing bf2042 and coming back to bf5 every time i try to find a match it "starts" matchmaking but instead of finding me a game it either finds me a team but doesn't connect me to the match and after a while gives me the "can't connect to ea online" error or just gives me the error immediately. i seriously don't know what to do anymore, i tried EVERYTHING including changing my dns server, reinstalling the game, checking the integrity of files, changing my security settings on my ea account, launching the game from a different user, reinstalling the ea app, launching the game as administrator and NONE OF IT HAS WORKED. i already reported the problem through the ea app but i don't think they will even look at my report just like last time. i would seriously appreciate ANY help. please.
