ERROR ON EA APP LAUNCHS

[SOLVED] Error on EA App Launch
After months searching for a solution for the launching problems that appeared after the mandatory migration from Origin to EA App, finally a conclusion.

I believe that this solve the 2 most common errors while trying to launch the game - "You don't have access" and "Error on our end". Without further ado:

1. Type "RegEdit" on your search bar (without the quotation marks, obviously);
2. Open "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE";
3. Open "SOFTWARE";
4. Locate and open the "EA Games" folder;
5. Open the Battlefield V folder;
6. At this point you should have some register entries on the right side, one of them is the "Install Dir", double click on it;
7. Now you just need to paste the path where your Battlefield V is installed, seems like the EA App is not able to map that directory for itself;
8. Close the Register Editor and it should do the trick.

That worked for me (forget the "downloading Apex" stuff or unlinking your EA account to Steam and linking a new one - I've done that and all I have now is an empty multiplayer progress, and I can only relink my original account in 6 months).

Wow amazing! After weeks of searching with no avail. Multiple requests for a denied refund. C service at steam directed me to your thread. This game is finally working. In future I will save the headache and buy from EA directly. This game was purchased for my kids. We own 4 copies and the one from steam was unplayable until now. Many thanks!

Did ya add the backslash at the end? The Dir for me went like D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\BattlefieldV\ and it ended up working

There is no Install Dir file for me

For me, when I open BTFV folder through Regedit there was not a file "Install Dir" so I created string and paste the path where BTF V is installed, but the problem is not solved, again the same error.

did you restart again?

I logged into my EA account. After that the previous error msg wasn't showing anymore. Now just, it want launch the game. I press double click and steam is opening with a msg Launching and nothing happens. EA doesn't want to up the game.
