BFV or BF1?

BF1 has better gunplay mechanics, better designed maps.
BF5 has more active players, but only marginally.

Bf1's gunplay is far worse lol. It has random bullet deviation, sweat spot sniper mechanic, and OP powerups that all come together to create the most casual mainline battlefield game. I still enjoy both a lot though.

bf1 gunplay and gameplay is like roblox compared to bf5, bf5 is superior in every possible way to bf1
