Cant upgrade to the definitive edition?

In the main menu there is an option to upgrade option for the definitive edition for 20 bucks but when i click it it just says checkout failed, anyone know why?

You have the game on steam so you already have the definitive edition

I thought that too but I don't have some of the skins that comes with the definitive edition so I was confused

This is what the definitive edition provides

"Instantly unlock the complete roster of Elites along with all gameplay content, all Elites, 84 outfit variations, 8 soldier outfits, 2 weapon skins, 3 vehicle dressings and 33 Chapter Reward items. "

Tell them the obvious...that you bought the definitive edition but didn't get the promised skins

Ive contacted them but still no response

no i bought it on steam but I bought before it became the definitive edition

so I do have to buy it again? or buy the upgrade again? is the upgrade supposed to be free or not
