Are cheaters really that common in here?

Just got a new GPU and screen (4070 ti super - 4k 32") and want to experience some 'new' games, no interest in that futuristic stuff from 2042.

Are those cheaters really that common in here? How many do you encounter? Are they in every match?
Because then I sadly will just pass on this game, although I have to say it looks good fun & great.

To add on this, if I encounter 1 cheater in every 10 games or so, that's 'ok' for me but not if I have to leave almost every match to avoid them..

Regardless of what others tell you, know that in every match there will be several cheaters. VERY rarely there will be matches without cheaters, approximately 1x20-30, in such matches I recommend staying longer and enjoying a fair game, but at the beginning of your gaming experience you are unlikely to be able to determine this, just look at the table and if someone has a score of 30x1-3 then most likely this is a cheat (there are exceptions with tanks, planes and very skilled players, but this is rare). The next question is that all cheaters use different cheats. For example, someone uses a free cheat for the lack of recoil of weapons and the spread of bullets, someone uses SIMPLE BOX ESP to see you through walls, and the most scumbags will use Aimbot so that their sight is glued to the target (they can adjust where shoot in the head or body). Those who use Aimbot will be a minority (1-2 people per match), because this is a paid cheat, the remaining 10 cheaters will use the free cheats mentioned above. But after some time of playing you will still be able to play well even with cheaters, for example I am always at the top of the table and quite often in the top five. I remember that this game was sold at a discount very cheap, I do not recommend buying it at full price.

last time i played it was packed full of cheaters, i wouldnt waste your money.

bf1 has community owned servers with admins so cheating isnt much of an issue there, imo bf1 is the better game all around and the one to play as of now.

I would advise you to try it, but you have to decide for yourself. The game also has four small story campaigns for different factions, each with several missions. They're not great, but they're not bad either.
The commentator above advised you to pay attention to bf1, I completely agree with him. BF1 is very atmospheric, better than BF5, but at the same time movement and team interaction are better in BF5. This is a personal opinion.

A score of 30-3 is NOT an indication for a cheater. Heck, even I manage to do this sometimes. If someone frags the whole enemy team across the map with the Lewis Gun and goes 130-10 (yes 10 deaths because they are completely incompetent most of the time) then this is a cheat. But when you start the game fresh it will be very hard to distinguish between a cheater and a good player most of the time.

EA has implemented EA Anti Cheat in the game a few weeks ago. In the first two weeks this killed of many if not all of the free availiable cheats. What you still see now in the game are the paid cheats, wich include all kind of severe exploits - the normal aimbot and wallhack combo, speedhacking, using unreleased weapons and explosives wich do an excessive ammount of damage, grenade and mine spam, using a suicide revolver making the whole server redeploy, or even just shutting down the server. If someone uses this you will most likely notice it.
I encounter such individuals twice per evening. Just change server or wait until he gets bored.

If you get the game for 7€ i think it still is worth it, and so if this is only for the single player campaign.

first hour in, 2 matches, enemy team was stacked everytime 0-500 0-300, funnily enough it seemed like atleast 5 people always knew where i and my teammates were. behind multiple walls, around multiple corners, through layers of flora, so you know, thats pretty funny

That can be just as bad. No online game is cheater free now, you will always find them in games. Some more than others. It's a massive business now. Worst of the bunch at the moment is probably COD Warzone and CS2.

If you want a less cheater infested BF your best shot is BF1.

let me put it this way, every 10 players, 11 are cheaters. not to mention people using mouse autoclick (autofire) with semi auto weapons. you see people with gewehr 1-5 moving and shoting faster than as-val. or macro... typically in "operation underground", jump and shoot, jump and shoot and again jump and shot...
