Game doesn't save progression

The game doesn't save my progression on story mode. It does save the finished intro and my settings (unlike in other similar cases) but when I exit the game, the other missions aren't saved.
I tried to close a mission without exiting the game completely and it shows me an option to resume, but once I close the game completely I have the play button instead and have to start the mission all over again.
I tried the tmp save file solution, tried to close OneDrive and other solutions I found online but nothing seems to work...

I have the the same issue, it also won't allow me to connect online... tried everything.. how do 1 even get to this in the first place? EA or something that is causing this?

Search for PC → Documents → BattlefildV → settings → PROFSAVE_tmp. Change the name from "PROFSAVE_tmp" to "PROFSAVE".

From the second time onwards, "PROFSAVE_tmp" will be generated every time the game ends, so similarly search for the previous "PROFSAVE" and delete it. Rename the newly created "PROFSAVE_tmp" to "PROFSAVE".

Do I need to do this every time before I close the game? Because I did try this once and it didn't solve the problem.

Same issue here. My documents folder is located on a NAS. Might be the problem. Anybody knows how to configure the "Battlefield V" folder to another path?
