From my experience, the presence of cheaters is really not that bad. I mean, I got accused of cheater in the game when I wasn't even cheating to begin with, so take in to account that people will accuse others of cheating when the get dumped on.

Overall. The amount of cheaters in the game will not ruin your experience to the point the game is unplayable.

Every multiplayer game is going to have cheaters. Pick your poison. You wanna play BFV? Then play BFV. Shouldn't let others dictate what you want to do.

had 2 cheaters in 2 lobbies today in a 6 hours session. 1 had speedhack 1 crashed the server, it's annoying but not unplayable

Play community servers and you’ll be fine they’re annoying but they arent so bad that it makes it unplayable.

That is one of the biggest things that annoys me about community servers: the ping. They're in the 100s and it makes the game feel really weird. I'm in NA and most of the servers are in EU; I'm S.O.L.

they are not locked afaik. I play on german /EUW servers if possible because ping is < 10. i get many japan servers at night. But ping is like 250+ on these for me so that's not an option.

if your reflexes and aim is better than a 80-year olds then you will be called a cheater or a crazy chinese/russian hacker

Don't. Buy 2042 instead. This game is going to die in a week - probably less. In 20 years of online gaming, I've never seen a worse game in terms of hackers.

If you get on a server that appears to be full of hacks
Just quit that game, an find a different server.

For what ever reason, luck seems to be that when you get a server with a hacker, it is a whole squad, and sadly 5 guys can ruin the game really fast.

Seems to be less a problem on the community servers

You will still run into very good players who simply have an insane amount of hours playing
but when they kill you, it's legit, they dont snipe you with a pistol at 1100 meters, through the side of a mountain or other non possible things like taking a tank round to the chest and just running away

yeah i thought so too. Generally Its always been fun playing Battlefield games per my experience. Just bought the game and will try community servers, just hope that its 0 cheaters.

Community serves should be cheaterless as someone said already, and bf 5 imo is best bf we ever had (played a lot of bad company 2, didn't really like it so much as everyone else, bf3 and 4 were great also, 1 has great feeling with its theme and is close second for me, and 5 is my go to bf experience. As for 2042 tried it during beta, didn't like it a lot, i know it has changed a lot, but my pc barely holds it, so i chose to not play it)

I have more than 300h in bfV but I gave it a rest to play bf 2042 in 2023, this last one can be fun on its own way and I played for more than 200h and enjoyed myself for the most part since I don't force myself to play games I don't like. But I after coming back bfV just to take a look, it shocked me how much more immersive and impactful it is compared to 2042, the gunplay, movement, no flashy hitmarker and that's funny because bfV was heavily criticized for being lackluster.
