Battlefield™ V

Battlefield™ V

very high RAM usage
A few minutes after I launch the game it starts using all available memory and freezing, cutscenes are stuttering af,tried different settings but nothing helped. Also tried both DirectX 12 and 11,no change...
Maybe my 8gb ram is too few,but why can I run e.g. Far cry new dawn without a single freeze but can't run Battlefield 5?Any fix?

The game uses 8-12gb of ram, so you are just barely meeting it, try setting page file to handle background application n services freeing up ram for gaming

My RAM is totally free(only windows with is running)
Also I checked some video tests, there was no stutter and 6,6-7gb RAM used in total

Here's one example https://youtu.be/cQtx30r2uJs

Try things like capping FPS to 60
Reduce particle effects and other settings that effect ram
What is your specs, gpu/cpu/ram/monitor res n hz
Ssd or hdd

You also could be getting a memory leak(poorly handled ram ingame)

Already capped fps to 60 and turned on vsync
Already tried lowest settings,no big difference
Specs:gtx1060,core i3 9100f,8gb ram,1080p 60hz ips screen,7200rpm 1tb hdd

Than my assumption is it the latter, you should install the game on an ssd or get another 8gb of ram if possible
My assumption is that with minimum ram and an hdd the write/read speed can’t keep up ontop of the ram( the video posted uses an ssd)

In this case I'm deleting this unoptimized game
Never seen such hardware hungry game before

Your pc is only as fast as your slowest piece, 8gb was commonplace in 2010( although you should be getting a stable 60fps with your spec)
Before you delete you should try things like phsyx to gpu, gpu program settings set to prefer maximum performance and see if that helps
And try disabling all in game overlays like discord,raZer, origin web browser etc they can cause issues

I do not have any overlays, only origin
Changing nvidia settings doesn't seem to affect something, the game also resets it after every launch
This game seems to be just very badly optimized conpared to other modern AAA games
