The dlss in this title is super super bad. :/ oh well.
As far as I know updated training data has not been added either since launch so it will just suck unless DLSS 2.0/2.1 is added.
As EA is still using/updating this engine, they could easily update to the new version but it is unlikely as there is no financial incentive to do so.
if you have an NVIDIA RTX graphics card in either 2060, 2070 or 2080 with or without TI
you can in BFV:
Option, Video, Advanced, DirectX12 Enabled, RTX Enabled
however DLSS can not be activated because the area is grayed out especially for RTX 2080 TI because a 4K screen is mandatory
these 4K displays are rare and expensive, there is a solution to bring your normal screen to 4K
you need a special size screen according to your card to enable DLSS as shown on this page from NVIDIA
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/battlefield-v-metro-exodus-ray-tracing-dlss/
3840x2160: All RTX GPUs
2560x1440: RTX 2060, 2070, and 2080
1920x1080: RTX 2060 and 2070
if your screen does not have the correct resolution and you cannot enable DLSS
or for those who have an RTX 2080 TI, they need a 3840x2160 screen
but if like me you have a screen in 1960x1440 or 2560x1440 the DLSS is disabled
the solution is therefore to change the resolution of your screen in the parameters of NVIDIA, and of WINDOWS and of BattlefieldV
right click on your desktop
open NIDIA control panel
in the left column, 3 D PARAMETERS click on MANAGE 3D PARAMETERS
on the right in parameters, at the 9th DSR line, double click on OFF,
tick boxes 1.20, 1.50, 1.78, 2.00 in short all boxes ...
click on apply at the bottom to validate your choice
then right click again on the desktop
open display setting
and change your SCREEN RESOLUTION (additional resolutions like 2804x1577, 3620x2036, 4434x2494 or 5120x2880 appeared)
depending on the power of your computer and the reference of your graphics card, put your screen in 4K (minimum 3840x2160)
a change occurs on your desktop (the application shortcut decreases because the screen has changed)
all you have to do is set the quality of BattlefieldV to 3840x2160 (minimum 4K) in short the same quality that you have chosen in the Windows display parameter
open BFV
Option, Video,
Screen resolution, you must change to 3840x2160 (or the same quality as the Windows setting you have chosen)
click on Advanced (at the top)
and finally the DLSS can be activated !!!!!
checked it on YES in order to gain fps with the RTX
https://www.nvidia.com/fr-fr/geforce/news/geforce-rtx-dlss-new-games-september-2018/
to restore your screen to the original resolution,
redo the manipulation backwards,
change in BFV, in Windows and set to OFF in NIVIDIA
if you have lags, don't put everything in ULTRA, limited shadows, or textures, in short ... ...
thanks guys
