i have some games from origin but i dont want to buy them again. neither do i want to create a new one for the games will be buying on steam.
Is there a way to link the accounts so i can see my origin games in steam aswell? i have not found anything that allows you to that but honestly that be really silly to say the least.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but it's impossible to transfer EA games from Origin to your Steam Library at least for the new titles which were released recently.

what does count as recently released? titanfall 2 or battlefield 1 arent "that" recent imho.
or you mean by recent like the past decade?
"at least for the new titles which were released recently." but there isnt a way to link thos etwo to begin with how you should you transfer olde rgames then?

Old games like Battlefield Bad Company 2 or Crysis. For example these games you can activate and play games in both Steam and Origin platforms. This still should work if something wasn't changed.

By "new titles which were released recently" I mean BF1; BFH; BF4; BF3; BFV. They are all new on Steam. I consider them as new titles here on Steam, since they were added to Steam recently.

So, why cant we link the account we paid for on origin to steam? you already have our money. I guess we're expected to re-buy it.

It has been proven many times by less greedy companies that it can be done... they just want You to pay twice.

doesn't prevent you to give free key to posseseur of those game on steam since it will change nothing Bethesda did it with FALLOUT 76 so EA can also do it
WHY should we be force to paid a game we already own ON YOUR PLATEFORME

EA love $€
talk about a money hungry company EA is... and with the new games they introduced here all it is is a link to the game on origins, wow, big deal.... i only have a few games on origins luckily i have not given this company too much money... however it is true that they show there true colors now when origins has no controller support but steam does... i mean why bother coming to steam at all, why have customers who already paid for this on origins buy it again just to link them to the same origins game.... it does not make any common sense to me however people double paying for this is what they are praying on.... think about it....

This is the punishment we get for supporting EA when we should not have supported them.

The smart people who did not support them on Origin now have the games on the platform we all wanted them on.

Remember this lesson; don't buy stuff on garbage storefronts run by jerks.

I have the bad company in old account. If i delete that account on origin can trasfer that in the new account?

There should definitely be some kind of Origin and Steam account linking. If you own games on Origin you should automatically get them on Steam or something like that.

That would make too much sense and miss an opportunity to get more $$$

Exactly like uplay.

most companies do the same, though, I have GTAV on 3 platforms and had to pay for each on the first 2 (third was free giveaway)

I know Fallout 76 did it, but it's not a rule, nor is it exactly "easy", it's separate storefronts from different companies, there's surely a cost for extra keys

everyone knows plenty of keys would end up on G2A and the like, and that's even less ideal for all of this

the only proper way would be if Valve allowed a way for the game to be granted just by linking accounts

at least that's what I see
