Game refuses to boot

I have tried every single "fix" to BPR, the mods, disabling webcam, everything, and nothing works and the game doesn't even start before it crashes, I can't refund as I'm past the allowed time

If you have already tried BPRModder and it didn't work, I don't knoe what else to suggest.

I had this problem as well. If you follow what it says make sure not to make the mistake i kept making in that you need to copy and paste the speed ini file first, then edit it and save. Now with the BPR Modder you just apply the core bug fix form the menu and now it should load.

The main thing is these things.
1. your windows user name doesn't have special characters, BPR may crash on initial start-up after "Connecting to Paradise City Servers" if your Windows username contains non-ASCII characters. As an example, usernames containing "é" or "ö" will result in a crash.

2. BPR Speed Patch. get the 2 files now post them into your scripts folder and edit to these values 0, 1,0,1

3. Did you follow all the steps in this guide, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2397461175

Try reinstalling the game and doing all the tings listed. it worked for me

You don't remove legacy code that's causing the bugs

Do you have weird names in your friendlist in Origin, try deleting these and launch it again

Yeah this is weird because i can play it just fine on my Desktop PC but doesnt work on my laptop

Nope, I don't have any Origin friends
