Is this game worth playing?

Hello, I played Dead Space 1&2 before. I want to play the game because I'm curious about how the story will end and I loved the previous games. However, there are a lot of bad comments about the game and it is generally not well-liked. Is it worth playing? Should I play alone or co-op? I've played it a bit before, but I don't remember the slightest thing.

Story is kinda meh and you have to play the DLC to "finish" the story. Gameplay is quite mixed too, definitely not as good as the first two but it's still playable. Still worth a play if you ask me, but whether you find it worth returning to is a different matter.

get it in a deal with Awakened DLC. I didn't want to buy it more than once (own it in console) but getting it on steam again was the best way to say "I want more Dead Space and only Dead Space" to EA.

Then remake was announced. I wanted 4 but ok.

Should I watch the DLC ending or should I play it in somehow..? I don't have the DLC and I don't want to pay 10 dollars for this. I remember I couldn't play because it was the last day of EA Play. So already wanted to return :).

I didn't have suitiable friend for co-op. But i finished it solo. It was fun tho

I'm probably too late with the reply, but yeah I wouldn't bother to play it at full price, only if it's on sale. Otherwise you could just watch the cutscenes for it, it's pretty short so there shouldn't be much to watch.

personally, love the game. space ships is my favorite part. its a very entertaining title. Popular to hate, because its different from the other two.. but its fun.

DLC is the best part to actually play.

With a friend, 3 is more entertaining than 1 and doesnt run into the issue of being too long and not much variety that 1 gets near the end.

1 is the better game still though.

Neither beat out 2.

All 3 games I found to be fantastic. DS1 has a great atmosphere and overall gameplay, DS2 is a bit short but it certainly quite fun. DS3 adds a legendary weapon system and some really neat semi-open-world areas. While they each get a bit more action-oriented, they are all pretty cool games.

Id say its worth it.
A lot of people talk about the story and lots of other things but to me... this is issacs third time dealing with this... this isnt a scary new thing for him anymore... its a tuesday... He has become doom slayer. Ender of trilogies.

I don't buy EA games because they had no interest in restoring my account after my original email account was closed. I reached out for them but nobody cared. EA can pound sand.
