Dead space 3 achievements not triggering/possible fix

Has anyone else had issues with some of these achievements since the removing the 'Brave new world' achievement?

So far I'm having issues with these:
- And then we doubled it
- Axes high
- Supercharger
- The difficulty related ones (finish on hardcore etc) (haven't tested but I assume given other posts
-Couple more

There were others that were bugged with me that were fixed by restarting a checkpoint
For example for 'weedkiller' where you have to kill 5 cysts at once with one gas surge- it doesn't work if you start the level and play to the point where you need to do the achievement. But if you get to the point where you start to do the achievement, reload a checkpoint, then go as normal, it works.

Does anyone have any fixes for these?

I havn't tested my fix above with other DS3 achievements, please post here if it worked for you

I also filed a ticket on EA support.
Can others do this too - Its the most likely way (still unlikely) that we will get a fix

I had filled a ticket aswell a week ago. I just checked your theory of restarting checkpoint, but in hardcore the checkpoint restart option is greyed out for me.

@player For the cut off 1000 limbs achievement, im stuck at 1000/1000 and the enlivenment wont trigger, same with 'axes high'

One tip about the axes high achievement, when I checked in game achievement tab it showed me 30/30, but I just kept doing the axe kills and it popped up after a while.

@player Thanks! I got axes high and the 1000 limb one by doing that today
Its mainly the difficulty and supercharger one im having trouble with now

This game is considered a Sunset project, it's a term EA uses for when they will no longer update or provide any kind of customer service for this game any further. I've already asked them about my connections issues, but there's nothing that can be done.

Even though I want to play this instead of the Dead Space remake.

It is funny. Those triggered for me without any issue. It seems that every player got different bugged achievements. This is so messed up..... I would already have 100% completion -.- Long ago....

I am one of the guys who posted there as well. They said that are looking into it. Thats good news. I hope they release an update here in Steam
