Can't join coop friend

i can't join my friend but i can join with random player, any idea?

I "work around" it creating a public game with very specific settings, and make my friend looking for casual games with those settings.

i already do that, i use hamachi, vpn, dns but no luck.

I tried suggestion in other groups, turn off defender and firewall, using vpn and change the dns address, and hamachi. but nothing worked.

Can nat setting affect the connection?

I have the ISP NAT, but I'd say it doesn't affect my host or guest connection.

Anyway I had problems too.
The only solution I have found is to create a public game, and waiting until my friend find me, looking for my specific game (chapter, resurrection mode, difficulty)

I also having this problem, I can find random players, but I can't play with my friend (he sees me when I enter the room) but I can't get past loading

Same with me, always failed to join with friend. But im curious, everyone have same problem when joining with their friend but not for random player. Can you try unfriend your friend and use quick match to join with specific game setting. Give me the result if it worked. My friend already refund it so i can't test it.

I have the same problem with my friend, tried many options, buying static IP helped.
