No audio output from headphones/ear buds

This is a problem I had an issue with and wanted to share the solution that fixed it for me. Beyond this I have no idea what else could solve it except playing audio through your speakers but I just thought I should share it. What I was experiencing was when I launch the game, I encounter no problems, the sound outputs just fine. Then audio mutes when I create / join a lobby. How I fixed this was I went to my search bar next to windows and typed "microphone privacy settings". From there scroll to whatever gives apps access to your mic and turn it off. At least that’s what fixed it for me. Hopes this helps anyone.

I was having a similar issue, my speakers worked fine but I wanted to use headphones but there wasn't any sound! The speakers would even go quiet as if I had the headphones on but no sound. Tried everything and then came here to see if there was a solution. Even though you had sound at first I figured I try this and YES it worked Thank you SO much --I love it when people take the time to help one another here and I wouldn't have ever looked there
